The Universal Hint System
ST version by Adem Ozkum
This program is Shareware. If you like it and use it, please
send $5 to:
Adem Ozkum

Rochester, NY 14615
If you'd like an accessory version that you can use without leaving
the game program that you are playing, please send $10 to cover the
cost of a disk and shipping.
This version of the Universal Hint System will only work in Medium
or High resolution.
The Universal Hint System lets the user load and view hints for
computer games. When a hint file is first loaded, the topic menu is
displayed. Simply move up or down until the proper topic is selected.
Selecting the topic will present a list of questions. Choose the question
most appropriate for your problem. You will then be shown hints, one at a
time, for the problem. If more hints are available, you will see "More"
displayed after the last hint. Move down for as many, or as few, hints as
you'd like.
I have tried to make the program as easy to use as possible. The ST
version is the first version to make use of scrolling lists and the mouse.
You may use either the mouse or the keyboard to make your selections.
To load a hint file, press the (L) or (l) key.
To exit the UHS, press the (E), (e), or (Esc) key.
To move down, press the DOWN ARROW cursor key or move the mouse down.
Likewise, to move up, press the UP ARROW cursor key or move the mouse up.
To make a selection, press the (RETURN) or (ENTER) key, or press the
left mouse button.
The Hint Files will usually have a .UHS extender (the last three letters
of the file name). The ST version will load any UHS format hint file. You can
find UHS Hint Files in the Gamers SIG on CompuServe. Simply type "GO GAMERS"
at any prompt. Hint Files for Text Adventures are in the Text Adventure file
area, etc. You don't have to worry whether it was created on one of those
other computers. That's all there is to it. Have fun!
